Come join Miguel Tejada and some of his friends from Major League Baseball, for a Celebrity Golf and Fishing Tournament at one of the most beautiful and well known resorts in the Caribbean, Casa de Campo. Take a bite out of the #1 Ranked Golf Courses in the Caribbean, and play Teeth of the Dog’s seven holes directly on the Caribbean Sea. Many top Major League Baseball Players from the USA will play a best ball tournament format against each other in teams of four followed by a fishing event the next day. Be partnered up with your favorite MLB player for 4 days of Golf, Fishing, Dining, and Dancing.
Proceeds from the Miguel Tejada Celebrity Showdown will be donated to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation for Cancer Research. The event will also be a tape delayed broadcast in the Dominican Republic and across 7 different networks in North America in 2007.
