"A big part of why we fell in love with Running Y Ranch, and ultimately why we purchased the resort in 2010, was the tremendous course designed by Arnold Palmer. However, we felt the original name, 'Running Y Ranch Golf Course,' did not live up to the acclaim," said Scott Pickert, Senior Vice President of Northview Oregon Resorts. "A few months ago we reached out to Arnold Palmer and his team to discuss an alternate name. The name 'Arnold Palmer Signature Course at Running Y Ranch reflects that it is one of Arnold's few signature designs, and it pays homage to one of the greatest legends and course designers in the game of golf."

Running Y Ranch is the only Arnold Palmer designed golf course in Oregon. Since the course opened in 1997, it's garnered the attention of golfers from the around the world, most recently being named as one of the Top 10 courses in Oregon by GolfWEEK.

In fact, Palmer even included the property in his "Sweet 16," stating, "The Running Y Ranch Golf Course showcases spectacular natural landscape of Oregon's beautiful unspoiled outback.
