- 15 Hours of Live Coverage on Golf Channel – Golf Channel will air 15 hours of live tournament coverage of the Wegmans LPGA Championship, including five hours of live coverage on both Saturday and Sunday.
- World No. 1 Yani Tseng Headlines World Class Field – World No. 1 and Wegmans LPGA Champion Yani Tseng headlines an elite field that features eight of the top-10 and 19 of the top 25 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.
- Cheyenne Woods to Make Professional Debut – Cheyenne Woods – the niece of Tiger Woods – will make her professional debut this week at the Wegmans LPGA Championship on a sponsor exemption. Within a 48-hour span last week, Woods received her sponsor exemption into the Wegmans LPGA and then qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open, meaning her first two professional tournaments will be majors.
- Headlining the field – World No. 1 Yani Tseng, Cheyenne Woods, Michelle Wie, Lexi Thompson, Paula Creamer, Ai Miyazato, Suzann Pettersen, Cristie Kerr, Morgan Pressel, Azahara Muñoz, Karrie Webb, Jiyai Shin, Sun Young Yoo, I.K. - Champions Tour’s Second Major – Golf Channel will air four rounds of tournament coverage from the Champions Tour’s second major of the year.
- Regions Tradition Pro-Am – Today (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. ET, Golf Channel aired the Regions Charity Pro-Am – the first time a Champions Tour pro-am aired on the network. The hour-long show gave viewers an inside look into the pro-am competition, featuring instruction from several mic’d up players. The Regions Tradition Pro-Am re-airs at Midnight ET.
- Headlining the Field – The 79 player field has combined for 772 total wins on both the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour, including 27 PGA Tour majors and 18 Champions Tour majors. Tom Lehman returns to defend his 2011 title, joined by Presidents Cup captain Fred Couples, Charles Schwab Cup points leader Michael Allen, John Cook and 2011 Regions Tradition runner-up Peter Senior.
- All 2012 Champions Tour winners entered in the field – Roger Chapman, winner of the first major of the year at the Senior PGA Championship, is in the field and will be joined by every Champions Tour winner this year – Dan Forsman, Corey Pavin, Kenny Perry, Loren Roberts, Michael Allen, David Frost and Fred Funk.
- Six World Golf Hall of Fame Members Scheduled to Compete – Hall-of-Famers Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Bernhard Langer, Sandy Lyle, Larry Nelson and Nick Price are scheduled to compete. Lyle is the most recent Hall of Fame member, having been inducted during last month’s ceremony.
