LPGA Golfer and California Native Paula Creamer to Kick Off the 2006 Championship Event While Helping to Raise Money for a Worthy Cause
WHO: Professional Golfer Paula Creamer, 2005 LPGA Rookie of the Year
WHAT: In support of the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, a benefactor of Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope, Paula Creamer will host an on-site silent auction at the tournament with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the hospital. The event kicks off a national online auction for consumers, featuring signed items from the top 20 LPGA players playing in this year’s tournament, as well as well-known PGA players. It will run at www.charityfolks.com through the end of November 2006.

WHY: Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope has been a long-time supporter of the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. To date, it has raised more than $850,000 for these wonderful causes. This recent effort is a special way for Samsung to continue its commitment to the LPGA and honor Mr. Palmer’s late wife, Winnie, and the hospital named in her honor.
