Proderma Appoints Seven Account Executives
Expansion Result of Increased Demand for Sun- and Skin-Care Products for Golfers
(PLYMOUTH, MA) – Proderma Products, maker of popular sun- and skin-care products formulated specifically for golfers, today announces the appointment of seven account executives to key sales territories.
Billy Hildreth (Alabama, Florida Panhandle), John Andy Heffner (Northeast, Central and Southern Florida), Christine Sumrell (Kansas, Missouri), Mark and Loni Ruediger (Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri), Joe Heim (Virginia), Kip Cordisco (Delaware, Maryland, Northern Virginia), and Ron Davis (Northern Illinois) will service merchandiser accounts under management of Dan Brown, Proderma’s Vice President of Golf Operations.
“When you consider the harsh consequences of the sun’s damaging rayhs, it’s not surprising so many golfers, golf courses and retailers are requesting Proderma products,” says Brown. “Due to increased demand, it’s necessary to expand our team to ensure customers and retailers receive orders in a timely and accurate fashion.”
Proderma’s breakthrough, golfer-specific products are available at hundreds of on-and off-course shops across America, including world-famous Bandon Dunes Resort, Congressional Country Club and Pine Valley Golf Club.
More than $1 billion is spent annually on skin-cancer surgery, a golfer dies of skin cancer every 12 rounds and roughly 1,000 PGA Professionals were diagnosed with skin cancer the past 10 years.
In early April, Proderma created a buzz in the golf industry with the launch of its new Prism sunscreen, the first and most complete protection available in a sunscreen.
Labeled an SPF 30+, Prism actually tested an SPF 50+, significantly reducing sun-induced skin damage associated with skin cancers and premature aging. PGA Tour and everyday golfers say Prism is so advanced that they actually see it working seconds after application. In addition to Prism’s quick-dry technology, the lotion is not globby, yet still odorless, sweat and water resistant, easy and smooth to apply and withstands the harsh weather conditions in which golfers play and discourages insects.
Other Proderma products include SPF 30 Sunscreen, Windscreen, Hand Lotion, SPF 18 Facial Moisturizer, SPF 18 Body Lotion, SPF 30 Lip Balm, SPF 30 Face Stick, Burn Gel and Moonscreen (works overnight for morning tee times). All are formulated to promote secure gripping of clubs through their natural, non-greasy ingredients.
Proderma products provide 24-hour preventative and therapeutic protection and skin-cell replenishment, and are dermatologically tested for and proven to be hypoallergenic and noncomodogenic. Its sunscreens have earned the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation for safety and effectiveness after passing a series of stringent scientific tests.
