AUSTIN/BASTROP, Texas -- Eric Claxton has expanded his Golf Hyatt responsibilities in a new role as Senior Director of Golf - Hyatt Resorts.

Foremost, he will be involved in standardizing and growing the Golf Hyatt brand with the current portfolio of 21 resorts across the United States and the Caribbean.

The Ohio native also opened the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Resort/River Marsh Golf Club as Director of Golf in August 2002 and started with the company at the Hyatt Dorado Beach in January 2001.
