ORLANDO, Fla. -- Golf Channel’s fast-paced talk show, the Grey Goose 19th Hole, kicks off its 10th season Thursday on Golf Channel featuring a new format, new cast and a new timeslot.
Airing Thursday and Friday nights at Midnight ET, the Grey Goose 19th Hole will feature lively debates in a roundtable-type format, in addition delivering the latest news from throughout the world of golf. Grey Goose 19th Hole will immediately follow the late edition of Golf Central, providing viewers with more expanded news coverage and analysis on the news of the day. New host Lara Baldesarra will moderate discussions between former PGA TOUR professional Tripp Isenhour and GolfChannel.com senior writer Jason Sobel as they break down all of the news in a fast-paced format. Golf Channel’s Win McMurry also will interact with viewers during the shows via social media, including Facebook and Twitter.
Baldesarra joins Golf Channel from Sportsnet, Canada’s national sports network, where she anchored the weekday morning show, Sportsnet World Connected. Prior, she served as an anchor and reporter for Fox Soccer Channel and the show’s nightly news and highlight show, Fox Soccer Report.
Isenhour will offer analysis and insight from a player’s perspective each week, relying on his experiences from his 12-year professional career on the PGA TOUR and Nationwide Tour that featured four Nationwide Tour victories. Isenhour also will serve as a contributing studio analyst on Golf Central throughout the year.
Sobel will lead the team of GolfChannel.com analysts who will rotate throughout the year on the show. Fellow senior writers Rex Hoggard, Randall Mell and editorial director Jay Coffin also will contribute.
