Ocean Edge Resort & Club on Cape Cod offers lessons package

BREWSTER, Ma. -- Ocean Edge Resort & Club on Cape Cod encourages would-be duffers to learn the fine art of golf with the assistance of their on-property PGA professionals. The “Learn the Links with a Pro” package features a half-hour private lesson with a PGA professional and unlimited use of the driving range to practice your irons and drives. Once their skills have been mastered, Tiger Woods wannabes can test out their new techniques with the included round of golf. Valid now through October 31, 2006 starting at $183 per person, per night, double occupancy, for the nine-holes and $211 for 18 (two rounds of nine), the getaway also boasts deluxe accommodations and daily breakfast.*

A perfect spot to learn the sport, Ocean Edge Resort & Club’s 18-hole PGA championship course is currently being redesigned by the Nicklaus Design Group. Scheduled to be completed spring 2008, the par-72 course is being renovated one ‘nine’ at a time, meaning novices don’t have to face the daunting task of finishing 18 holes their first time out. After a long day on the greens, guests can relax in one of the resort’s six hot tubs and indulge in local fresh seafood at the Zagat-rated Ocean Grille overlooking Cape Cod Bay.

For those guests whose passions extend beyond the fairways, Ocean Edge Resort & Club offers lessons in a number of other activities including tennis, swimming and instructional fitness classes such as spinning, yoga and Pilates. Younger guests can master their own skills at the resort’s junior golf and tennis clinics. Guests not looking to refine or learn a new sport, can rent a bike and enjoy a leisurely ride along the 26-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail that runs directly through the property.
