Honors for Circling Raven Golf Club & Coeur d’Alene Casino

WORLEY, Idaho – Nov. 16, 2004 – Award-winning Gene Bates-designed Circling Raven Golf Club and Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel have announced that their Sales and Marketing Director Marcy Morris was named “Extraordinary Employee” nationwide in a recent issue of Indian Gaming magazine.

Indian Gaming magazine is the leading trade publication for hundreds of casino resorts owned by Indian Tribes nationwide which employ tens of thousands at their properties.

In citing Ms. Morris for her exemplary contributions to Circling Raven Golf Club and Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel, Indian Gaming magazine highlighted her proficiency in helping put the new resort on the map nationwide.

“It is humbling to be recognized in this manner, and I’m honored to be a member of Coeur d’Alene Tribe which owns Circling Raven and Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel,” says Ms. Morris. “The property is helping the tribe and community by giving back, so it’s extremely gratifying to be a part of it.”

Convenient to Spokane (WA) airport, the resort and golf club are owned and operated by the Coeur d'Alene Indian Tribe on a reservation covering 345,000 acres of mountains, lakes, old-growth forest and farmland.

The resort spans the western edge of the northern Rocky Mountains. Golf, gaming (video gaming machines, off-track betting, bingo), brand-name entertainment, fine dining, plush lodging and a spectacular array of natural resources – including majestic snow-capped mountain views – define the resort.

Designed by Gene Bates, Circling Raven was recently named a “Top 10 New Courses You Can Play” by GOLF Magazine and is a member of the exciting, new Idaho Golf Trail.
