Florida's Duran Golf Club voted best golf course and practice facility

VIERA, Fla -- Duran Golf Club is excited to announce the results of your votes!
Every year, during the month of July, Florida Today Newspaper, the areas largest distribution newspaper with over 300,000 readers, hosts a reader poll among their consumers asking to select the “Best of Brevard” businesses in a variety of categories. Amongst these categories were “Best Golf Course” and “Best Practice Facility”.

Duran Golf Club opened in July 2005 and in just one year, Duran became the “Best in Brevard” golf course and practice facility. Duran is very pleased to achieve these recognitions. “This is a true honor for our first year in business” said General Manager David Tomczak “ the staff at Duran has been trained to exceed our customers expectations and takes pride in the standard of service they provide. Duran will only improve as the new facilities open and service expands in the coming years.”

Duran Golf Club will celebrate the lighting of the Development Center in November, followed by the scheduled opening of the beautiful, British-West Indies style clubhouse in January 2007. The practice facility will then allow for practice on the range or play on the par 3 course every night until 10 p.m. The practice facility is soon to include an Instructor of Golf that will oversee the Duran Academy of Golf.

Although Duran has only open one year, it is quickly becoming recognized as a “Golf Destination” for not only local enthusiasts, but for national and international travelers alike.
