PGA National Resort & Spa in Florida announces popular 'Fall Escape and Play'

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- PGA National Resort & Spa -- home of the PGA TOUR Honda Classic and five award-winning championship courses -- is once again offering its popular "Fall Escape and Play" package, highlighted by unlimited daily golf, nightly deluxe accommodations and daily breakfast.

Complete with over $500 of additional value, the Fall Escape and Play runs from October 16, 2011 -- January 12, 2012. Starting at $199 per night (per person, double occupancy) it includes:

• Unlimited daily golf on The Palmer, The Squire, The Haig or The Estates courses with complimentary replay booked after first round completion
• Cart fees included in the nightly rate
• Fifty percent off the David Leadbetter Golf Academy daily clinic
• Gratis club storage and access to tournament-quality practice facilities with unlimited practice balls
• Daily breakfast for two at The Citrus Tree cafe with its wide array of hot and cold selections

A surcharge of $75 (Oct.1 - Nov. 30, 2011) and $100 (Dec. 1 - Jan. 12, 2012) applies to play The Champion -- site of the Honda Classic and famous "Bear Trap" -- one of the most demanding, three-hole stretches on the PGA TOUR. From Dec. 1 - Jan. 12, 2012 the surcharge includes the forecaddie fee on The Champion (gratuity extra). A two-night minimum stay is required. The David Leadbetter Golf Academy is offered Monday through Saturday at 5 p.m.
