Buyers who purchase a qualifying developer-owned homesite and sign a contract by July 3 to build a new home in Verandah will receive a $15,000 incentive to cover the joining fee for a full golf membership at Verandah Club, according to Bonita Bay Group, developer of the 1,456-acre community along the Orange River in Fort Myers.
Kelli Eastman, director of sales, said homesites begin in the $50,000s and pricing on new homes - offered by a variety of homebuilders - starts in the $190,000s.
"Sales activity has been strong in 2011, and we wanted to keep the momentum going into the summer months," Eastman said. "A club membership program is the perfect fit, since so many of the homebuyers at Verandah are drawn to our incredible golf courses."
Verandah Club offers two championship golf courses: Old Orange, a classic design by award-winning golf course architect Bob Cupp, and Whispering Oak, a challenging layout created by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II.
Verandah Club members also have access to a broad array of amenities, including the Golf House pro shop, Tennis and Fitness Center and the River House, featuring Jesse Fish lounge, the 120-seat Alligator Pear restaurant and the open-air River Terrace overlooking the river.
All Verandah residents enjoy nine miles of walking trails and fitness paths; Oak Park with community treehouse and playground; canoe and kayak livery; Dog Park; and a boardwalk along the riverfront that showcases the Orange River.

Verandah offers villa homes and estate, custom and traditional single-family homes in a variety of neighborhoods, including homes available for immediate occupancy. Home and homesite packages are priced from the $190,000s to more than $1 million, and pricing on custom homesites now starts in the $50,000s.
