The new Opening Night Reception, sponsored by Yamaha, is open to all Expo attendees beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at The House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. Industry professionals will enjoy complimentary refreshments and entertainment.
At the inaugural Golf Outing & Testing Day at Bali Hai Golf Club on Tuesday, Sept. 12, PGA Professionals, VIP buyers and industry leaders will be able to test top products at each hole, vie for several prizes throughout the outing, including a hole-in-one contest for a car and a chance to win $10,000. Additionally, PGA Professionals can participate in a PGA Challenge tournament, where two-man teams compete within the outing format for a $1,000 prize. All outing participants will receive manufacturer tee gifts, beverages, breakfast and a barbecue lunch. The entrance fee is $125 and there is no additional charge to compete in the PGA Challenge. Scoring will be provided by eGolfScore, the official wireless scoring sponsor of the golf tournament. A new Apparel Retailer Forum, sponsored by The Apparel Wire, will be staged on the Show floor Wednesday, Sept. 13, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., for invited PGA Professionals and key retailers to participate in four discussions of timely apparel and merchandising trends. Each roundtable will be led by an apparel retail expert who will address a current subject matter and lead the exchange of information among participating professionals. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
PGA Fall Expo attendees also can connect and learn from experts and fellow professionals during the free “PGA Fall Expo Trend Seminar” on Wednesday, Sept. 13, and during the full education conference education conference, Sept. 13 (9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) and Sept. 14 (9:00 a.m. – 1: 30 p.m.). The Expo floor also will foster business networking opportunities at the indoor golf range of the Equipment Test Center and during the ETC Forum presentations by manufacturers and industry leaders.
