Inforemer GPS system in play in Telus Skins Game in Canada

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- GPS Industries, Inc., the leading innovator of Wi-Fi enabled GPS systems for golf facilities and residential communities, announces the inclusion of their INFOREMER(TM) GPS system in the Telus Skins Game, hosted at the stunningly scenic and historic Banff Springs Resort in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta.

The Skins Game is staged annually in both the United States and Canada with this year's Canadian event including Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus, John Daly, Stephen Ames and Sergio Garcia.

Greg Norman, who is a major investor in GPS Industries, will be using the company's portable INFOREMER(TM) GPS unit in each of the two days of competition. The patented, state-of-the-art technology will also be made available to Nicklaus, Daly, Ames and Garcia.

GPS Industries unique FIRE AT THE FLAG(TM) hole-in-one challenge will be incorporated into all four Pro-Am tournaments connected to the event, and during play of The Skins Game all five PGA stars will take a shot at a One-Million dollar (US) prize to benefit Alberta Children's Hospital.

"We are thrilled to be part of the Skins Game," says GPSI President and CEO Robert Silzer, Sr. "Greg Norman has been a major investor in, and Advisor to, GPS Industries for several years now and to have these five great players all use our technology in the same event is something we're very proud of."

To which Greg Norman adds: "GPS Industries owns the patents which cover the use of GPS technology for golf throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. I was so impressed with their products that I had to become involved. The Skins Game should prove to be a great showcase for the technology and GPS Industries."

The Skins Game was broadcast on TSN (The Sports Network) August 12 & 13, with repeats August 15 & 16 and August 22 & 23.
