CHICAGO -- Dilla Golf Apparel Company, makers of upscale performance technology apparel, welcomes David R. Duerson to our Board of Advisors.
Dave earned his Masters Degree in Entrepreneurial Management at Harvard Business School in April 2001 and holds his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
He was given the opportunity as majority owner of Fair Oaks Farms in April 1995 through his affiliation as a McDonald's Hamburger University graduate, and owner/operator of McDonald's Restaurants in Louisville, KY. Under Dave's leadership, FOF sales grew from $24 Million in 1995 to $63 Million for the year 2001.
In addition, he was president and founder of a marketing and research company as well as the president and founder of two statewide substance abuse prevention networks. Dave serves or has served as an advisor to several schools and educational clubs and has served Notre Dame as a Trustee, and on the College of Business Executive Board and as President of the Monogram Club. Dave is also a share holder & Director of the United Community Bank of Lisle.
He is, however, probably best known for his professional football career. After graduating from Notre Dame, he played for eleven seasons as a safety in the NFL and was a member of two Super Bowl Championship teams (Chicago Bears & New York Giants). He retired, however after playing three(3) seasons with the Phoenix Cardinals.
Dave is currently the President/CEO and majority owner of Duerson Foods, which primarily serves 40% of the Burger King system. He also serves as Chairman/Founder of the Dave Duerson Foundation, which caters to those students that are pursuing a degree in Entrepreneurial studies.
