Golf Smarter podcast features Cohen of Shivas Irons Society

GOLF SMARTER, the podcast, continues this week with a follow up to last week’s Michael Murphy interview. The Shivas Irons Society name honors the protagonist in the book Golf in the Kingdom, and our guest is the founder and president, Steve Cohen.

With more than 1,000 members worldwide, the Shivas Irons Society exists to explore golf's beauty and mystery, and to provide opportunities for personal and social transformation. The Society also has charitable and scholarship programs in place.

“The Shivas Irons Society is a working non-profit organization trying to further the pleasure of golf and to explore its many mysteries,” according to Cohen, “because of its worldwide reach to golfers, the Golf Smarter podcast is a great opportunity for us to inform many more people of our mission. With little to no time restrictions, podcasting allows us to paint a full portrait of why we’re here, as opposed to being featured on a short news story that sees us as a fad or quirky group of golfers.”

Currently the most popular golf podcast on the Internet, GOLF SMARTER focuses on tips, drills, insights and advice for golfers of all levels, and features a single interview with an expert from the golf industry. The GOLF SMARTER podcast is currently available on the host website, http://www.teetour.com/podcasts/golfSmarterPodcast.html or can be found on iTunes, podcast.yahoo.com among other podcast hosting websites.

The GOLF SMARTER podcast is currently seeking sponsor partnerships. Greene Creative Services, producer of GOLF SMARTER, has amassed statistics in 6 months that will appeal to a number of online advertisers. “Our audience consists of active, dedicated, tech-savvy golfers,” says Greene, “who listen to the entire program each week and shop online. This is a very cost effective advertising opportunity for the right sponsor.”
