professionals to its ranks of outstanding personnel. The addition
of these new employees continues to propel the Inn forward in
maintaining its high level of excellence with the added benefit
of positively impacting the employment picture of the broader
community.
-Christen McCuiston, Revenue, Reservations and Communications Manager.
Christen joins the Inn from The Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel, a
AAA Five Diamond and Mobil Five-Star property, in Beverly Hills,
Calif. where she managed guest reception, PBX and reservations
for four years.
-John Mozart, Director of Security. John most recently served as
Director of Security for The Streets at Southpoint mall in
Durham. Prior to his work in private sector security, John spent
30 years with the Durham Police Department, where his assignments
included Executive Officer to the Chief of Police and Executive
Command Staff.
-Rich Nelson, Hotel Controller. Until Rich came to the Inn, he
served Interstate Hotels as Controller of the Pittsburgh Airport
Marriott. Prior to that assignment, he worked for several years
in a number of senior level positions within Interstate's
corporate offices.
-Daniel Frazier, Evening Manager. Danny comes to the Inn from
Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Fort Myers, Fla. where he served
as Evening Resort Manager/Assistant Director of Housekeeping from
2001 until earlier this year.
-Julie Brakenbury, Sales Manager. Julie is a consummate sales
professional who now handles the Inn's burgeoning association
market. She served as the Director of Sales for the Durham
Convention and Visitor's Bureau from 2003 until she joined the
Inn in May of this year.
-Mary Reischmann, Catering Sales Manager. Mary comes to the Inn
with an extensive background in catering and conference services
in the Asheville, N.C. and St. Petersburg, Fla. areas. Most
recently she served as Operations Manager for Chef Michael's
Catering and, prior to that, as Director of Catering and
Conference Services at Biltmore Estate, both in Asheville.
-Diane Hershfield, Fairview Manager. A delightful new addition
to the Fairview Dining Room, Diane brings with her a successful
track record of managing food and beverage services in Four and
Five Diamond properties across the United States, including the
luxurious Four Seasons Resort Aviara in North San Diego, Calif.
-Christopher McRoy, Front Office Manager. Christopher has a
varied history of management level positions in the hospitality
industry, from food and beverage services to general operations.
He most recently served as general manager of the Sanibel Resort
& Spa in Fort Myers, Fla.
