SK Fiber shaft helps Lantz secure spot in '06 Euro Championship

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Alexander Lantz used SK Fiber’s popular Javelin –CW shaft to launch his winning drive at 370 yards and earn a spot in the 2006 Euro Championship. The 2005 Swedish and Scottish Champion, Marcus Edblad finished fourth also using the Javelin –CW.

The Javelin was jointly designed by SK Fiber R&D and 2002 Long Drive Champion and NCAA Javelin Thrower Carl Wolter. The Javelin is made for powerful swings, it’s low 2.5 torque tip, 77 gram weight and high kick point results in longer more accurate and consistent drives.
Since it’s establishment in 1986, SK Fiber Golf has formed a union with the most highly acclaimed composite research University in Korea. Our mission was to develop materials and processes that would create the finest and most consistent golf shaft in today's highly competitive graphite golf shaft market.

We start with producing our own carbon cloth material (pre-preg), which is extremely important to the quality of the finished product. There is a seven-step process, from the raw material to the finished golf shaft. Each step goes through stringent quality control processes, which include SK Fiber's own Pressure Plus System. This process produces a shaft so consistent that we can guarantee +/- one cycle, delivering a consistent and virtually flawless graphite golf shaft.
