After several years of exploding real estate and job growth in the once sleepy and still quaint southern Utah town of St. George, it's most famous golf course privatizes.
Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club is the golf course that you have seen in photos from every tourist chasing business in Southern Utah. The picturesque setting and ancient goelogical backdrop have made it on of the most photogenic golf courses in the desert southwest. The amazing red mountains and black lava flows contrast usually azure (that's a shade of blue for the pacific northwesterners) sky and deep green fairways of this Troon Golf managed facility located 90 minutes north of Las Vegas, Nevada. The marketing effort is probably over for this once public/resort golf course. You will see less and less of it in ads, news stories and other marketing efforts due to it's recent privatization. The small block of daily tee times available to guests of the on-site hotel (The Inn at Entrada) will surely sell out quickly, given that it is now the only way for non-members to experience this fabulous Johnny Miller Signature design.
By booking a room at the luxurious and comfortable Inn at Entrada (twist my arm), golfers can play the now exclusive Entrada golf course, but guests of all other St. George area hotels, public golfers, and even un-accompanied guests of members cannot.
Visit www.innatentrada.com or www.golfentrada.com for more details on how you can be one of the lucky few.
