LAKE CITY, Minn. -- Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the world's largest industrial auctioneer, announces its plans for the Grand Opening of the Auction Information Center at the Jewel Golf Course in Lake City, Minnesota Aug. 5-6. The Golf Course is offering half price greens fees ($40 for a round of golf, instead of $80) and Ritchie Bros. is offering free bus tours of the Jewel community to showcase the real estate that is in the unreserved auction taking place on September 23. Then, people on the bus tours will also be taken on a free paddlewheel boat ride on Lake Pepin.

and 2:30-5pm.
"There is limited space available, so we recommend that people call now if
they want to take part this weekend," said Kim Schulz, who is coordinating
the auction for Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. "We will be giving away some prizes
over the weekend too, including tickets to Minnesota Twins games, golf
towels, golf balls, Jewel golf shirts and other great items. People will be able
to enter their name in the grand prize draw at the end of the weekend for
either a set of free men's Titleist golf clubs or a set of women's Cobra golf
clubs.
Ritchie Bros. also has an exhibitor booth at the 3M Championship at the TPC
Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota July 31-August 6th. They will be giving away
free passes during the Grand Opening weekend for people to attend the 3M
as well.
September 23, 2006 auction information
Ritchie Bros. will be holding a large, unreserved real estate auction on behalf
of The Jewel in Lake City a local, master-planned golf community on
September 23, and plans to staff the Auction Information Center at the Jewel
seven days a week, from 8am to 5pm. Interested property buyers can come
to the Jewel anytime to take a tour, find out what is in the auction, and
closer to auction day, register to bid at the auction.
The current unsold home sites and undeveloped land at the Jewel will be sold
in the unreserved auction to take place on September 23, 2006, as well as
the Hale Irwin-designed golf course, the clubhouse, and maintenance facility.
