GolfBuzz.com adds public profiles feature to golf social network

ATLANTA -- GolfBuzz.com, the world’s first social networking Web site specifically for golfers, announced the launch of its public profiles feature, giving the site full social networking capabilities. With the click of a mouse, GolfBuzz.com members can now tell the world about their golf game and find similarly skilled players, all while having a forum to discuss their game 24/7.

This new feature gives the growing online community the best social networking features while delivering the type of information that has made the site a favorite among the sport’s devotees.
Blending Web 1.0 and Web 2.0, the site brings elements of networking and community involvement similar to MySpace and Linked In, but is customized just for the passionate golfer. Like MySpace, GolfBuzz.com’s member profiles are a place for golfer’s to brag about their game and find new friends and playing partners. The site allows golfers to break down and rate individual components of their game from their driving distance to their short game.

As GolfBuzz.com CEO Patrick Coulson says, “It is like your own online golf trading card. A snapshot of your golf game for the world to see.
