PWGA Championship set for Sevillano Links in Corning, California

The Pacific Women's Golf Association (PWGA) will host its major championship on August 10-11 at Sevillano Links at Rolling Hills Casino, a favorite links-style course & resort in Corning, Calif. (north of Sacramento along the I-5 corridor).

"This is the first Nor Cal women's championship to be contested at Sevillano Links," stated PGA General Manager and Host Professional Brian Dahmer. "We are extremely proud to host this PWGA tournament and I am confident the ladies will enjoy competing for the title on our challenging-yet-fair links style course."

According to PWGA executive director Caroline O'Brien, the championship will attract talented female golfers from various Northern California regions. To be eligible to compete, players must be a current PWGA member. The field is limited to 144 players. Entry fee is $135.00 per player.
