Pasatiempo Golf Club forms partnership with The Golf Connection

The Golf Connection, a destination marketing and consulting firm, has formed a partnership with the prestigious Pasatiempo Golf Club and will now serve as the marketing agency for the famous Dr. Alister MacKenzie-designed course. As a full-service golf marketing company, The Golf Connection provides dedicated, cost-effective golf-event management, consulting, and direct marketing solutions to destinations, resorts, and corporate clients.

Pasatiempo Golf Club, which is ranked #11 in Golf Magazine's Top 100 Courses You Can Play (2008), has been restored to the original Dr. Alister MacKenzie design. Unlike other MacKenzie design courses like Cypress Point and Augusta National, Pasatiempo is accessible to the public and sets aside tee times each day for public play. The famous California course boasts panoramic views of nearby Monterey Bay from several holes on the property. Pasatiempo also offers outstanding restaurant facilities, such as the historic Hollins House, which opened in 1934 after the course was built.

One of the top-rated golf courses in the United States, Pasatiempo Golf Club joins the list of other prestigious properties such as Tuscon National, The Four Seasons Nevis, and The Hershey Resort to team with The Golf Connection for its expertise in the golf industry and contacts in the resort and travel space. Pasatiempo Golf Club will be the second resort from the San Francisco Bay area to enlist the services of The Golf Connection. Cordevalle Resort, which is located in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, currently holds a partnership with The Golf Connection.
