A Capmark Bank related entity, the new owner of Horseshoe Bend Country Club (HBCC) in Roswell, has selected Private Club Associates (PCA) of Georgia to manage and revitalize this premier private golf club located in Roswell Georgia. CB Horseshoe Bend LLC. took possession of the club on July 6, 2010 after foreclosure proceedings were concluded.
"We selected Private Club Associates because of their previous excellent work with one of our clients. We are confident that they can dramatically improve the value of our asset" said Rick Nekoroski, Senior Vice President of Capmark Bank's Golf and Hotel Finance Group.
Originally designed in 1974 by Joe Lee and redesigned by Bill Boswell in 1999, the golf course features 5 holes along the historic Chattahoochee River, with more than two miles of beautiful river frontage. PGA tour players Phil Mickelson, Bob May and Dudley Hart are among those who have won AJGA tournaments at Horseshoe Bend.
With a 14 court tennis complex, Horseshoe Bend is actively involved in the USTA and ALTA programs and has hosted some of the world's top tennis professionals as the site of the AT&T Challenge Invitational tournament.
