If you're looking for a five-star golf, hotel and dining experience in Orlando, this might be the right time to check out the new Waldorf Astoria in Bonnet Creek.
Located in the heart of Disney World country, the New York luxury brand hotel opened last year as well as the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, which is Orlando's first Rees Jones design.
The golf course is a 7,100-yard understated, classic style layout. It's reminiscent of some of America's best old-style courses, featuring smaller greens guarded by bunkers and water.
Waldorf Astoria G.C. is open to the public, and you can expect to pay anywhere between $125 to $170 for green fees. But right now you can stay and play at the resort for as little as $279 with unlimited golf.
If that sounds expensive, consider that rooms alone at a hotel the quality of the Waldorf Astoria typically cost that much or more. These are the types of hotels where everything is first-rate -- the beds, the linens, the service and the food.
The latter can be enjoyed at the Bull & Bear Steakhouse, which is modeled after the legendary original in Manhattan. The restaurant features certified Angus Beef Natural, 21-day dry aged steaks and great seafood. The dining room overlooks the golf course and signature cabana pool.
