Dot Wong: Golf Digest's Whitten blasts conditions at Bali Hai in Las Vegas

Golf Digest Course Critic Ron Whitten spotlights Bali Hai Golf Club in Las Vegas, writing that "Bali's greens were by far the poorest of the half dozen courses I sampled during my stay in Las Vegas. But it was the highest price course I visited." He also added an "editor's note" at the end that says the course's owner, Billy Walters, "said all involved are embarassed over the poor condition of the putting surfaces..."

Ed Sherman writes here about how most of the young blood on the PGA Tour comes from outside of United States...

Mike Bianchi writes that "the visual last week of a wobbly and weakened Wie, suffering from heat exhaustion during a men's tournament and being carried to an ambulance on a gurney, was the worst thing to happen to women's sports since Serena Williams wore the leather catsuit."
