Pro-Am Triple Play series to kick off in northern Calif. in August

ORINDA, Calif. -- The Northern California PGA is pleased to announce its inaugural Pro-Am Triple Play sponsored by Page & Tuttle. The series will include three pro-am events with the first kicking off on Monday, August 21 at Orinda Country Club (Orinda, Calif.). The second, The NCO Pro-Am will be held on Sunday, September 24 at Saddle Creek Golf Resort (Copperopolis, Calif.) as a prelude to the 2006 Northern California Open Championship. The final pro-am will be held at Peach Tree Country Club (Marysville, Calif.) on Monday, November 6.

Each shamble-format event will consist of 5-person teams (1 professional player and 4 amateur players). Entry fees, which are $125 for pros and $225 for amateurs, will include green fee and cart, tee prize, contest, lunch, team prizes, and an hors d’oeuvres reception. Deadline for sign-up for the Orinda Country Club Pro-Am is Monday, August 14.
