PT Topindo Lucky Sports to distribute Boccieri Golf in Indonesia

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Boccieri Golf announces that PT Topindo Lucky Sports has been named its official distributor in Indonesia, continuing the rapid global expansion of its award-winning Heavy Putter and Heavy Wedge lines.

As the company's newest partner in Asia, PT Topindo Lucky Sports will utilize its longstanding relationships to grow sales for Boccieri Golf's products in the off-course and green-grass markets. The Jakarta-based firm represents numerous international golf brands and also operates the TOPGOLF chain of retail stores that boasts locations throughout the country.

"Establishing a relationship with one of the region's most well-respected distributors will help extend the number of players familiar with our technologically advanced products," says Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf. "Over the past decade, the game has grown steadily in Asia and we're confident that players of all abilities will embrace the lower scores and confidence that come with using Boccieri Golf putters and wedges."

With this agreement, Boccieri Golf's popular, game-improving products are now readily available in more than 35 markets worldwide.

"The Heavy Putter and Heavy Wedge are very well respected in the industry and we know they will be popular with Indonesian consumers," says Lucky Kusuma Chandra of PT Topindo Lucky Sports. "Golfers are always looking for equipment that helps them maximize on-course performance, that's exactly what they will experience with Boccieri Golf."

Introduced earlier this year, the Heavy Wedge is a traditionally designed blade with a head mass only slightly heavier than a conventional wedge. The added weight (65 grams) is positioned in the butt of the shaft, raising the club's balance point nearly 40 percent, promoting distance control, an improved swing path, tighter shot dispersion, acceleration through impact, smoother tempo and unparalleled feel. It is available in a variety of lofts including 52 (eight degree bounce), 56 (11 degree bounce) and 60 (four and seven degrees of bounce).

Also new for 2010 is the Heavy Putter LITE-WEIGHT Series and various models in the MID-WEIGHT and HEAVY-WEIGHT lines. They are available in a black PVD, with select styles showcasing a silver satin finish. All feature the company's innovative system of added weight within the head and grip. This causes the body to engage its larger muscles for a consistent swing path, uniform pace, precise distance and directional control, as well as tightening end-over-end golf ball roll. The new styles and weighting options provide a putter for every preference.
