OGIO golf bags earn top rankings in 2010 Golf Digest Hot List

BLUFFDALE, Utah -- Each year, manufacturers and consumers alike anxiously await the release of Golf Digest's annual Hot List issues. These no-holds-barred reviews of the industry's latest golf gear are the result of months of arduous product testing, putting gear through grueling feats to determine which ones are worthy of a coveted Gold or Silver Award.

This year, Golf Digest ranked OGIO golf bags as the best of the lot, awarding the company with two golds and one silver for the company's Ozone, Syncro and Sultan bags. Only one other company (out of 12) secured three total awards, and OGIO was the sole manufacturer to earn two 2010 Hot List Gold Medals for its golf bag designs.

According to the editors, the OGIO Syncro's name "is appropriate because each of its 13 pockets is in exactly the right place, including a magnetic ball pocket that leaves you wondering why the zipper was invented."

"OGIO rethinks everything," Hot List judges note about the popular OGIO Ozone golf bag, "including small details like a Velcro strip to hold your glove and a magnetic scorecard pocket."

"The Hot List judges represent the most educated, savvy golf experts in the industry because they know how to inspect, reverse engineer and critique golf's finest technology," says OGIO Global VP of Golf Tom Gocke. "For OGIO to stand out with top honors among some of the game's best-known brands is a tremendous achievement, and motivates us to push our design bar increasingly higher. We're tremendously grateful to the Golf Digest team, and honored by their recognition."
