If you've ever thought about visiting Hilton Head Island, S.C., one of the country's premiere golf destinations, this might be a good time.
Several of the resorts there are offering nice stay-and-play incentives, including Sea Pines Resort, which is home to the famous Harbour Town Golf Links, site of the PGA Tour's Verizon Heritage. It's also home to a couple of other pretty good golf courses – the original Ocean Course and Heron Point, a new Pete Dye renovation.
Right now, you and your group can get three complimentary nights in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa at The Sea Pines Resort when you play two rounds of golf at Heron Point and one round on the Ocean Course. While this particular package does not include Harbour Town (which you could add separately), the other two golf courses aren't too shabby.
Heron Point is the old Sea Marsh Golf Course that was completely renovated by Dye. The Ocean Course, as the name implies, features views of the Atlantic. George Cobb did the original design in 1960, but it was rebuilt in 1995 with renovations by Mark McCumber.
