When you think of college golf powers now, you might want to add Augusta State to your list. And why not? After all, it's located next to one of the most hallowed grounds in the sport, Augusta National Golf Club.

While most of us were probably watching Justin Rose get his first PGA Tour win today at Jack Nicklaus' Memorial tournament -- after all, that's what was on TV -- Augusta State took down power Oklahoma State at The Honors Course near Chattanooga, Tenn.

The Jaguars defeated OSU 3-1-1 in match play to win the title. (The NCAA implemented match play for the final eight teams two years ago.)

Oklahoma State was the top seed and clearly the favorite. The school has played in every NCAA Division I men's tournament in the 64-year history of the championship and has won 10 titles. But on this day, it was Augusta State, which only plays D-I in one sport, golf, and competes in Division II in its other nine sports.
