Jason Gore named as Honorary Chair for the 2010 Golf Classic

LOS ANGELES -- PGA Tour Professional Jason Gore was named Honorary Chair of Inspiration Foundation's second annual Golf Classic, announced President Isaac Shapiro today.

The 2010 Inspiration Foundation Golf Classic will be held at Valencia Country Club in Valencia, Calif. on June 21, 2010.

"We're thrilled to have Jason on board as the Honorary Chair of the tournament," said Shapiro. "His participation will certainly enhance our golf event and enable us to provide greater support to Inspiration and the visually impaired individuals it serves."

This is a special opportunity for Gore who is a local resident of Valencia. In 2005 Gore won a PGA Tour and currently holds six victories on the Nationwide Tour, which ties him for the most wins ever. In 1997 he was a member of the national championship team as a collegian at Pepperdine University. "I am proud to be a part of this first-class event here at my home course," said Gore. "Inspiration Foundation is doing great things for great people."
