A leading cancer charity is offering free tee times at top Scottish golf courses to challengers brave enough to take on a 16-hour game.
Macmillan Cancer Support is looking for teams to play a massive 72-holes of golf in one day, hitting 300 shots and walking 20-miles as part of the Longest Day Golf challenge.
And the charity has managed to get courses to offer free tee times to brave golfers taking part in the event - which sees the top four teams heading to Portugal to play for the Longest Day Golf trophy.
Macmillan is urging anyone interested to get in touch with them as soon as possible for details of the days and courses available.
Macmillan's director in Scotland, Elspeth Atkinson, said: "We have been very lucky that so many prestigious golf courses have given us free tee times for those taking on the very tough Longest Day Golf challenge.
"We hope the generosity of the clubs will encourage even more golfers to take part in this event.
"It's certainly not going to be an easy challenge, but for people who really love golf there can't be many better ways to raise money for charity."
Golfers who want to take part in the challenge can play any day between May and August, simply by getting a team together and booking time on a course.
Many teams will choose to play on June 21 - the longest day of the year - to take advantage of the long hours of daylight.
The four teams that score the highest and raise the most money for Macmillan will go on to play for the Longest Day Golf trophy at the prestigious Boavista Golf Resort, Lagos, Portugal.
Elspeth added: "More people are being diagnosed with cancer in Scotland every year so we need to continue raising more money to fund our vital services.
"All of the money raised from this challenge will help Macmillan support people affected by cancer in Scotland, so it's a very worthwhile way to spend a day - even one of the longest you'll ever have!"
Macmillan is hoping golfers taking part in the challenge across the UK will raise £365,000 to help the charity fund its vital cancer services.
