Charleston 2005 golf guide released

CHARLESTON – Nov. 15, 2004 – Charleston, known for its 300-year history, pristine beaches, original cuisine, gentle southern hospitality and the birthplace of golf is now widely considered a premier golf vacation destination. With a mild year round climate, area golf courses are ready for the 2005 golf season.

Charleston Golf, Inc., a non-profit organization formed by the Charleston Golf Course Owners Association, Greater Charleston Hotel & Motel Association and the Charleston Area Convention & Visitor Bureau has just released its 2005 golf guide, The Official Charleston Area & Resort Islands Golf Planning Guide. The 2005 Golf Guide includes information for visitors on 19 area golf courses (including the renowned resort courses at Kiawah, Seabrook and Wild Dunes) as well as more than 25 hotels, motels, resorts and villa rental agencies. The 2005 Golf Guide also features information on some of the area’s best restaurants and attractions.
