DALLAS -- Fairway Advisors announces the sale of the West Winds Golf Club located in New Market, Maryland. West Winds Heights Golf Club is an 18-hole, private, championship golf course designed by William F. Mitchell. The course was owned by West Winds GIBG LLC. The sales price was not disclosed.

West Winds Golf Club was opened in 1971 as the centerpiece to a residential community. West Winds is the ninth golf course sold by Fairway Advisors for GIBG. The other golf courses are located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.
