Champ Spikes celebrates 75th anniversary with two more wins

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- CHAMP Spikes/MacNeill Engineering continued their official 75th anniversary celebration with wins at both the Barclays Cialis Open and the European Open over the weekend. At the Cialis Open, the winner needed a par on the 18th to seal the victory and shot a 32 foot put for birdie and the win. In what’s becoming a familiar sight on several major tours, the leader board was crowded with players wearing CHAMP spikes as 6 of the top 10 finishers at the Barclays Cialis Open wore CHAMP spikes.

An ocean away at the European Open, CHAMP was king again but this time the winner chose CHAMP’s Stinger™ spike. In Europe, 6 of the top 10 winners got a leg up on the competition by picking CHAMP spikes, the majority choosing the Stinger™. Overall, an overwhelming majority, 102 out of a field of 156 chose CHAMP spikes.

“These wins are a great way to celebrate our 75th anniversary. The results and statistics show that the players are asking for our spikes by name. They are taking out other spikes in favor of ours.
