FAIRHAVEN, Mass. -- Titleist continues to set the standard for
high performance golf balls as three more players posted wins across the
major worldwide professional tours. Victories by Allen Doyle, Brittany
Lincicome and Stephen Dodd on the Champions, LPGA and PGA European Tours,
respectively, advances the Titleist 2006 victory count to 89, more than six
times the nearest competitor with 14.

PGA TOUR: Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Cialis Western Open
by an overwhelming 116 (74%) to 12 margin, more than nine times the nearest
competitor.

Co-runner-up Mathew Goggin (Pro V1x) and the champion were the only two
players to post all four rounds in the 60s at the event. The feat had not
been performed since 2002 and just six times since the tournament moved to
Cog Hill G&CC in 1991. Goggin's T2 finish also earned him an invitation to
the British Open based on being the top finisher at the Cialis Western Open
among players not previously eligible.

Rookie Daisuke Maruyama, who finished T19, fired a career-best 5-under 66
on Sunday, which tied for the best round of the final day. Maruyama is a
full-line Titleist staff professional who relied upon the Titleist Pro V1x
golf ball, Pro Titanium 905S driver (8.5), PT 906F prototype fairway metals
(13.0, 18.0), Forged 695CB irons (4-P) and Vokey Design approach (52) and
lob (58) wedges.

In fact, Titleist was the choice of more players than any other brand in
the iron (37), utility iron (6), wedge (134) and putter (55) categories.

CHAMPIONS TOUR: Allen Doyle outdueled playing partner and fellow Pro V1
loyalist Tom Watson with a steady final round of 2-under 68 to win his
second consecutive U.S. Senior Open. Doyle finished at 8-under 272, two
shots clear of Watson, who owned a two-stroke lead over Doyle heading into
the final round.

Bruce Lietzke (Pro V1) fired a final round 4-under 66 and finished in a tie
for third with Titleist ambassador Peter Jacobsen (Pro V1x) at 5-under.
Andy Bean (Pro V1) tied for fifth, while Bob Gilder (Pro V1) finished solo
seventh. Loren Roberts (Pro V1), whose 8-under 62 on Saturday broke the
U.S. Senior Open single round scoring record, followed up with a final
round 68 and finished in a three-way tie for eighth with Titleist
ambassador Jay Haas (Pro V1) and D.A. Weibring (Pro V1), as 9 of the top 10
finishers trusted Titleist golf balls for their success.

Overall, 76 percent of the field trusted Titleist golf balls at the U.S.
Senior Open, outnumbering the nearest competitor by a 119-15 margin. The
victory was the 14th for Titleist golf ball players on the Champions Tour,
seven times more than the nearest competitor with 2.

LPGA TOUR: It was an all-Titleist golf ball final at the HSBC Women's
World Match Play Championship as 20-year old Brittany Lincicome (Pro V1x),
seeded 39th, beat eighth-seeded Juli Inkster (Pro V1) 3 and 2, to capture
her first career LPGA Tour title.

Lincicome reached the final with an impressive 4 and 3 win over the
second-seed in the quarterfinals, and then edged the third-seed with a
dramatic 20-foot birdie putt on the 19th hole of the semifinals. Inkster
knocked off the top-seed 1-up in her quarterfinal match before dispatching
the fifth-seed 5 and 4 en route to the championship match.

The win was the 11th for Titleist golf ball players on the 2006 LPGA Tour,
more than three times the nearest competitor with 3.

Titleist was the golf ball choice for 47 players (75%) at the limited-field
HSBC Women's Match Play Championship, more than six times the nearest
competitor with 7.

In addition to the Pro V1x golf ball, the winner also relied upon a
Titleist Pro Trajectory 904F 3-wood (15.0), Forged 735CM irons (4-P), Vokey
Design approach, sand and lob wedges and a Scotty Cameron by Titleist
Futura Phantom putter.

PGA EUROPEAN TOUR: Stephen Dodd (Pro V1) posted a final round 2-under 70 in
windy conditions at The K Club in Ireland to claim the Smurfit European
Open for his third career PGA European Tour title. He completed the event
at 9-under 279, two shots clear of third-round leader Jose Manuel Lara (Pro
V1x) and Anthony Wall (Pro V1x). Fellow Pro V1x loyalists Simon Khan, Jeev
Milkha Singh, Graeme Storm and Lee Westwood were among five players who
tied for fourth place as Titleist golf players secured the top eight
positions on the leaderboard.

The win was the 20th for Titleist golf ball players on the 2006 PGA
European Tour, five times the nearest competitor with 4.

Overall, Titleist accounted for more than 77 percent of the field in the
golf ball category with 120 players - 100 more than the nearest competitor
with 20.
