COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Futures Tour golf professionals Ashley Prange and "Chill" Rachel Connor have entered into apparel agreements with golf and tennis clothing manufacturer Tail Activewear. As part of the agreement, both will wear Tail Activewear apparel exclusively in all golf tournaments in which they play during the 2010 season.
Ashley Prange has achieved significant success in her still young professional career. In addition to her victory on the Big Break V: Hawaii, Prange is a two-time champion on the Futures Tour and has recorded an impressive 16 top-10 finishes. In 2007 Prange competed in the U.S. Women's Open and was also conditionally exempt on the LPGA that year. While at the University of North Carolina prior to turning professional, Prange recorded 15 top-10 collegiate finishes, including three wins. She was four times named to the All-ACC Conference team and during her senior year was named a first team All-American.
"Chill" Rachel Connor, a Manchester, England native, is making her professional tournament debut this week at the Futures Tour Florida's Natural Charity Classic in Winter Haven, Florida. Connor moved to the United States in September 2009 to train for her professional career at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. She qualified for the 2010 Duramed Futures Tour through its fall 2009 qualifying school. Prior to turning professional, Connor was a highly decorated amateur. In 2009, she placed first on the English Ladies Individual Order of Merit. She also finished third in the British Ladies Strokeplay Championship and was a quarterfinalist in the Ione Jones Matchplay Championship, all while participating in numerous tournaments on the England Nations Cup Team.
Tail Activewear is pleased to welcome Rachel and Ashley to our "Tail family" and wish them luck in their coming season.
