This friendly and welcoming hotel was originally built in 1895 and has impressive views over the surrounding Moray Firth. The hotel is situated across from the Moray Golf Club and is an ideal base for exploring the nearby beaches, harbours and local attractions such as Elgin Cathedral and Duffus Castle.

With the Moray Golf Course directly across the road, what better place could there be for a golfing break than the Swallow Stotfield Hotel in Lossiemouth. Where else could you follow in the footsteps of Old Tom Morris and Henry Cotton in the same day? The old course is considered to be one of the finest links courses in Scotland. A classic links designed by Old Tom Morris with deep revetted bunkers, undulating gorse lined fairways and smooth fast greens. It is a superb test of golf with seven par fours over 400 yards. Henry Cotton's preference for precision golf can be seen with the shorter but somewhat tighter new course with greens smaller than the Old but every bit as good, and equally challenging and rewarding. Moray Golf Club is truly one of Scotland's gems, a fitting tribute to the artistry of Old Tom Morris and Henry Cotton and a must for golfers visiting the area.

Each of the well appointed bedrooms is en-suite with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and direct dial telephone. Many of the rooms also offer views over the Moray Firth. Dining is available in the hotel's excellent restaurant which provides an intimate dining experience serving fantastic freshly prepared food.
