NORTON, Mass. -- Golf Fights Cancer has announced that Dianne M. Lynch has been chosen as the organization's first Program Director.
Ms. Lynch, a North Andover resident, has extensive fundraising and event experience, having worked for more than a decade with Major League Soccer and the New England Patriots. While at the Patriots, Ms. Lynch helped establish and organize the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation. The UMass graduate has also worked on fundraising and outreach initiatives for leading hospitals and nonprofit organizations like Tufts Floating Hospital for Children, American Red Cross, and Make a Wish of Massachusetts and Rhode Island

"Dianne is has been part of the GFC community since our inception and she is uniquely qualified to lead our growing organization; she has the experience, the expertise and most importantly the passion to help drive the future growth and effectiveness of Golf Fights Cancer."

Golf Fights Cancer has numerous fundraising events already planned for 2010, including a team of runners in the Boston Marathon, its annual 100 Hole Golf Marathon set for June 4th at Stow Acres, and its signature fundraising event, the Good Guy Invitational.
