Known Putting Arc users have recorded 21 pro wins so far in 2010. This includes wins on the Champions Tour, the Nationwide Tour, the European Tour, and nine wins on the PGA Tour. 11 of the top 13 finishers at Doral now use, or have used the Putting Arc. Also, a special congratulations to Kris Blanks for his second place finish yesterday in Puerto Rico, his best finish ever on the PGA Tour. He worked with VJ Trolio on his putting while on the Nationwide Tour and has done some full-swing work with VJ over the past year and a half. .

Several interesting stories come from the mini-tours. Matt Boyd recently won his first professional tournament , the Adams Golf Pro Series at Panther Trail in Woodlands, Texas. Matt has been a Putting Arc user since high school, went to Virginia Tech, and roomed with British Amateur champion Drew Weaver. Both were part of the 2007 golf team that produced an inspiring win at the ACC Championship in the aftermath of the tragic shootings at VT.

Also, Ocala, Florida's Ted Potter has recorded three wins on the mini-tours so far in 2009, one on the Hooters Tour, and two on the Florida Professional Tour. The Putting Arc wishes these two young pros continued success in 2010.

Congratulations also to Paul Holtby of Paul Holtby Golf. He was awarded the 2009 Teacher of the Year for the NC-SCPGA. He has had a lot of success teaching with the Putting Arc and has started giving his students the Putting Arc mini-dvd to take home and study. Paul has found that this usually results in the student's more rapid improvement and often the sale of a Putting Arc to the student.

While working the PGA Show, Putting Arc personnel got to meet some of the top junior girl golfers in the world and discovered that three of the top four and four of the top fifteen girls in Golfweek's Class of 2011 were long-time, happy Putting Arc users. We also had the pleasure of meeting Santiago Garat at the show. He is Profesor Escuela de Golf for the Association Argentina de Golf, and he teaches the top ranked junior girl in the world.

Old Waverly, the home course of the Putting Arc, has announced the following upcoming Clinics and Schools for 2010. These will be taught by VJ Trolio, author of The Final Missing Piece of Ben Hogan's Secret Puzzle, and Tim Yelverton, Short Game Instructor at Old Waverly. Both are former Mississippi Open Champions, and both use Ben Hogan's post-accident pivot as detailed in The Final Missing Piece. Attendees of the swing schools will receive an autographed copy of VJ's newest book, Tendency. From this book, the student will learn (among other things) why on some days he can hit his driver well, but not his irons, and vice versa on other days .... and how to fix this age-old problem. Finally, there is a fun and interesting story relating to the Final Missing Piece Ben Hogan book. I caught the phone one night after working hours, and this avid golfer called to order a book. When I asked him how he heard about it, he said that he was at a driving range and this "old guy" was hitting drivers and just killing the ball. When my caller asked the "old guy" how he hit it so far, he said he had been working on some things from the Final Missing Piece, so my caller found out where to order a book and called us. I took the order and then asked the caller how old the "old guy" was, and he said he was 82. I then asked the caller how old he was, and he said 81. I just hope I make it to that age, and at 81 still want to hit my driver as far as some "old guy."
