Andrew Rice to conduct free golf swing seminar in Bluffton, South Carolina

As a follow up to the successful launch of his first book, renowned golf instructor Andrew Rice will be conducting a free swing seminar at Berkeley Hall in Bluffton, S.C., April 19, the Monday after the Verizon Heritage, beginning at 10 a.m. The two-hour session is free to all who have previously purchased Rice's book It's All About Impact as well as those who purchase the book at the seminar. All attendees will receive a coupon for a free lesson with Rice valued at $75.

"The response to the book so far has been tremendous," Rice said. "The information I share in the book has struck a chord with golfers of all abilities and I'm excited about the opportunity to help others learn what I uncovered while studying the world's top players for this book."

In his book, Rice debunks the myth you have to have a perfect swing to hit the ball consistently well. Instead he focuses on what he calls the "moment of truth," the time when the club strikes the ball. He also reveals a trait he calls the 84 degree secret that is consistent with all of the game's greats. At the seminar, Rice will discuss both the long and shortgame elements discussed in the book along with a graphic explanation of the 84 degree secret.

World Golf Match Play champion Ian Poulter said of the book, "All of golf's great players have had different swings, but it's the solid strike that makes the difference. This is a simple concept explained well and will be helpful to golfers of all levels."

A self-professed swing junkie, Rice is the director of instruction at Berkeley Hall, which boasts one of the best practice facilities in the country. He has studied under some of the greatest golf teachers of the modern era and has worked with touring pros on the PGA, LPGA and European tours as well as top amateur players.

The book from Bally Down Publishing in Bluffton was released just prior to Christmas and is available at www.itsallaboutimpact.com. It will also be available at Berkeley Hall prior to the seminar April 19.
