LINCOLN, Neb. -- Continuing in its efforts to professionalize the industry, the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) is pleased to announce the upgrading of four of its member's statuses. Genesis Golf Builders, Inc., of McHenry, Ill., and Lepanto Golf Construction, Inc., of Pomona Park, Fla., have achieved Certified Builder status, and Eagle Golf Construction, Inc., of Fenton, Mich., and Earth Sculptures, Inc., of Indio, Calif., have been upgraded to Associate Builder status.
The GCBAA has different levels of membership starting with Builder Applicants, followed by Associate Builders, Builder Members and Certified Builders. Each level has a unique set of requirements and qualifications designed to identify and recognize members who continue to strive to improve their professional standards and customer satisfaction.
Genesis Golf Builders, Inc. specializes in the construction of world class golf courses and the renovation of existing facilities. With the motto of "creating your vision," it has received the 2008 Golf Course Industry's "Legacy Award" and Golf Magazine's seventh and ninth ranked best new private course award.
Founded in 2002, Lepanto Golf Construction, Inc. is comprised of high quality, professional and dedicated staff with more than 40 years of experience in the industry. They pride themselves on completing projects in a timely manner and on budget.
Eagle Golf Construction, Inc. started in 1989 and specializes in the remodeling of existing facilities and the construction of new golf courses. Their meticulous attention to detail has been the driving force behind their success.
Based in Indio, Calif., Earth Sculptures, Inc. specializes in restoration and reconstruction of existing golf courses. Since its establishment in 1989, much of its work has been acquired through referrals, exemplifying their focus on customer service.
