Tournament Golf Association of America names Todd Ackerman CFO

WASHINGTON -- Todd Ackerman, an experienced corporate financial executive, has joined the Tournament Golf Association of America, LLC., as the company's first Chief Financial Officer. Dennis M. Baca, President and CEO, offered the following statement regarding Ackerman joining the TGAA Executive team, "Todd's experience and expertise is precisely what we need to enhance our financial discipline and ensure effective processes in order to manage our anticipated accelerated growth through franchising opportunities here in the U.S. The timing of someone with his financial skills and golfing knowledge to fill our requirement for the CFO position is perfect."

Todd is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a BS in Business Administration. He is retired from the Department of the Air Force, lastly holding the position of Operations Superintendent, where he directed the F-16 aircraft maintenance test and integration programs. Todd and his family moved to Virginia in 2006 from Southern California where he was one of the founding members of the Rancho Vista Golf Club. While there he served as a Tournament Director and subsequently as the club's Handicap Chairman. He has been a TGAA Tour member since 2007 where he served as a member of both the tour's Handicap and Players Committee.

Todd will play a key role in reviewing the current financial reporting systems to ensure every efficiency is being captured and of course his analysis of both the existing business plan and business model to provide perspective franchisees with the very best support in securing financing.

Ackerman is excited about joining the TGAA Team and helping in the national expansion. He stated, "The TGAA is simply an awesome concept with such an excellent management team that I feel deeply honored to be offered the opportunity to serve as CFO."
