Focus Band wireless EEG bio-feedback training tool earns raves

The developers of Focus Band spoke with sports writers regarding the roll out of their break-through product which now enables athletes to quantify their mental game

Graham Boulton CEO of Focus Band said, "We chose the Carolinas PGA Show to debut the Focus Band and support our Carolinas sales staff as this being the largest PGA Section show in the country. We were not disappointed and were pleased to win the Best New Product of the show conducted by an independent poll"

Focus Band is a wireless EEG bio-feedback training tool which measures in real-time brainwave information, and then the PC displays the athlete's degree of Focus, Anxiety and Muscle Tension. The graphic results are intuitive, easy to understand, and is accompanied by audio feedback

After one session with Focus Band student golfers understand what is required to increase and maintain their focus levels, something most have never been taught to do. Once focus training progresses, it is then applied to visualization, pre-shot routine and full swing execution.

With the 30 foot range of the wireless signal, golfers can train with Focus Band on the golf course. For coaches and PGA instructors this means obtaining crucial evidential information with what is going on in their students head, when with the coach, practicing on the range, playing socially and in competition. This will assist in taking their game from the range to the first tee !

Carolinas Focus Band representative Glen Coombe, "The Putting Doctor" said, "When I was introduced to Focus Band I quickly recognized a product that was way ahead of its time and one that instruction professionals and coaches have been looking for. We have all talked to students about focus. This has always been in the conceptual sense and without evidence to jump start success. Now we have a training tool that will quantify focus and allow rapid improvement in the metal area of the game."

Boulton went on to say, "Focus Band has been three years in development. Our product has been tested by professional golfers who are achieving higher levels of concentration and focus. I believe that each and every collegiate golf coach should have a Focus Band and incorporate it into their team training. We've made Focus Band very affordable. It is both portable and compact, needing only a basic laptop computer to record and display results. I know that everyone that tries Focus Band will have one of those 'ah ha' moments that attendees at the Carolinas PGA Show experienced. The light of discovery was shining brightly at the Focus Band booth throughout the Carolinas PGA show."

Coombe added, "The Australian crew from Focus Band had the attention of the crowd at Myrtle Beach from day one. It's fair to say no one had seen such an effective, easy to use, portable and unique product such as the Focus Band. I'll be showing Focus Band to all my students as well as PGA Professionals in the Carolinas going forward. I also fully expect the professional golfers on the eGolf Tour to be among the first to witness the Focus Band and to obtain the benefits of focus training."
