Golf Communications International (GCI) to work with Kingsbarns Golf Links

Since opening in 2000, Kingsbarns Golf Links has gained a reputation as one of the world's best modern links courses. The Kyle Phillips designed course, which is located near St Andrews, has regularly been ranked in international top 100 course rankings and each year is one of the host courses for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the European Tour.

Golf Communications International (GCI) will be working with Kingsbarns providing a range of media relations services. This will include proactive press work for the course and handling press enquiries as well as organising press trips to the prestigious venue.

Stuart McEwen, general manager of Kingsbarns, said, "We are pleased to be working with GCI and believe this will help us in promoting Kingsbarns as one of Scotland's finest golf courses. Helena has excellent contacts within the golf industry which will be invaluable to us, particularly in a year when the Open Championship is returning to St Andrews".

Helena Woodcock, who runs GCI, said, "I am delighted to be working with a course of Kingsbarns' stature. It already enjoys an excellent reputation as one of the world's leading modern links courses and I will be working with them to further develop their media profile."
