POWAY, Calif. -- After the first Tuesday finish on the PGA Tour in 26 years ended, Aldila, Inc. had capped off a dominating week of competitive golf with victories on the PGA and Nationwide tours. The Booz Allen winner was using Aldila's NV™ shaft in his Driver and their VS Proto™ shaft in his 3 Wood. The win at the Booz Allen Classic made it back-to-back victories for Aldila's VS Proto™ on the PGA Tour and its fourth of the year. The U.S. Open winner used the VS Proto™ shaft in his driver.
Aldila also posted their second victory of the year on the Nationwide Tour with a win over the weekend at the Chattanooga Classic in Tennessee. The winner used the Aldila NV™ shaft in his driver and the NV™ Hybrid shaft.
According to the Darrell Survey, Aldila had the number one hybrid shaft at the PGA Tour's Booz Allen Classic. They were also the number one shaft manufacturer and number one hybrid shaft manufacturer at the Nationwide Tour's Chattanooga Classic. Aldila was the number one wood shaft manufacturer and the number one hybrid shaft manufacturer, used by nearly 40 percent of the field at the PGA Club Professional Championship. At the USGA Women's Pub Links Championship Aldila was the number one driver shaft manufacturer and at the LPGA Wegmans Rochester Aldila was the number one hybrid manufacturer.
