Trend-setting performance apparel designer Ralph Dunning and his company, Dunning Golf, will sponsor a special Youth Day program at the 2006 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, on Tuesday, July 11.
As part of this all-day event, children 17-and-under will receive free entry to the tournament site and the first 250 who register with the American Red Cross ID program will receive a gift package featuring a Prolite mock neck from Dunning Golf. This extremely breathable, ultra-lightweight performance apparel includes proprietary moisture-wicking fabric to keep the body cool and dry and anti-microbials for odour control.
Registrants will also receive a lunch certificate, a coupon for mini-golf and a chance to meet with the day’s marquee practice group, highlighted by Dunning Golf staff player Zach Johnson, international golf phenom Michelle Wie and 2005 John Deere Classic winner Sean O’Hair. The day will conclude with a youth clinic and trick shot exhibition by golf personality Dennis Walters.
“This partnership with the John Deere Classic and the American Red Cross provides the ideal opportunity to support the local community and the junior golfers who are the game’s future,” says Ralph Dunning.
