CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. company, announced the appointment of Golf Ventures West as the new Jacobsen dealer for Georgia, Alabama and North Florida. With this appointment, the company expands its relationship with Golf Ventures West, who currently represents Jacobsen in its operations in Phoenix, Arizona; Corona, San Diego, Oxnard, Hayward, and Sacramento, California; and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Golf Ventures West, along with its sister company Golf Ventures located in Central Florida, will be utilizing its resources and experience to provide excellent sales, parts, and service support to new and existing Jacobsen customers.

Golf Ventures West will commence operations in the Atlanta area on February 1st, 2010 and will expand throughout the region with locations in Birmingham, Alabama, Jacksonville and Pensacola, Florida. Golf Ventures West operations will be led by Mike Eastwood with over
26 years experience in the Turf equipment industry including a 17 year association
with Jacobsen.

Joining Golf Ventures West is Garry Callahan, an industry veteran of 38 years with significant personal knowledge of the territory, who has been associated with Jacobsen as a dealer for over 20 years.
