PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Nov. 3, 2004 – The PGA Tour and National Car Rental have signed an extension to their marketing relationship through 2007, whereby National will continue to serve as the official car rental company of the PGA Tour and Champions Tour, while adding the Nationwide Tour in 2005.

This announcement coincides with National’s 10th anniversary in partnering with the PGA Tour. As the “Official Car Rental Company of the PGA Tour, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour,” National will continue providing exempt members of all three Tours with a variety of benefits while promoting the partnership and developing PGA Tour-themed consumer specials.

“We are delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with National,” said Tom Wade, chief marketing officer for the PGA Tour. “Our members essentially are independent businessmen who travel extensively, and National provides outstanding benefits that are very important to the players and their families.”

National will continue to provide PGA Tour, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour members with a variety of benefits including discounts, Emerald Club memberships and one-way rentals, all of which are important elements to players who travel over half of the year.

Throughout the relationship, National has developed consumer promotions around selected tournaments and has provided special PGA Tour-related offers to its Emerald Club members. National will continue to work with other PGA Tour marketing partners on developing joint promotions.

Additionally, National will continue to entertain key customers at several PGA Tour events each year, and also will participate in the PGA Tour’s “Drive to a Billion” charitable campaign.
